If you plan to arrive after the designated check-in times then please refer to the Late Check-In section further down this page.

On Arrival:

Please park in the public car park when you arrive and then walk to reception at No.3 Cottage, next to the Cottage Window Cafe, and ring the bell. A member of staff will welcome you.

PLEASE NOTE: Cottages No. 2 & 3 are residential so please do not park here or use any wheelie bins infront of the cottages, thank you.

Unloading & Parking

Please be aware there is no parking directly next to your pod. After check-in you can drive to the 'Eco Pod Drop Off Point' at the campsite entrance and from here you can unload your belongings.

We have camping trolleys you can use to help move your belongings to yor pod. They are located just to the left of the green public toilet block. Code to unlock is 1356. Please return trolleys after use.

Once you are finished unloading we ask that you return your vehicle to our main car park.

PLEASE NOTE: As part of the Flax Mill construction the area near our tent parking has been affected and this may be unavailble. Staff will direct you where to park if this is the case.

Your Eco-Pod

Your Glamping Eco-pod sleeps up to 4 people (one double bed plus one small fold-out sofabed suitable for 1 adult or 2 kids). There is also a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and kettle.

Our Glamping Eco-Pods are very well insulated but if you should get a bit chilly don't worry, you will also find 2 heaters, one wall mounted and one which is moveable to keep you cosy no matter the season.

You will find a charging cable for the small wall-mounted reading lights in the cupboard should you need it.

Toilet & Shower Facilities

The Campsite Toilet & Shower block is located just a few feet from the pods. These facilities are open 24/7 and are cleaned by staff regularly. There are NO keys or codes required to gain access.

Each unit has a shower as well as a hairdryer, USB outlets and outlets for shaver chargers.

The dark blue door is the accessible toilet.

We ask guests to keep showering times to a minimum as we currently operate on a victorian style septic tank system which can be overwhelmed with too much water.

Cosy Up By The Fire

There's nothing quite like relaxing by the fire with friends, under the stars toasting marshmallows!

We have a large communal firepit with log seating located just beyond tent pitch number 12. This is free to use for anybody who wants to.

For those of you staying in an eco-pod we have small private firepits available for hire (£5 for your full stay). We also have bags of logs (£8.50) and our popular fire bundles which include logs, kindling, safety matches, eco fire lighters, marshmallows and skewers all for just £10!

If you haven't already added these to your booking online then you can give us a call or simply let us know what you would like when you arrive to check-in and we will sort that for you.

You can see our full list of prices HERE.

You can find our Fire Safety page HERE.

We Are Dog Friendly

Well behaved dogs are very welcome at Silverburn. With wonderful woodland walks and Leven beach on your doorstep your four-legged friend will love their time here.

There is a £10 charge for dogs in pods, if you forgot to add dogs as an add-on while booking then let us know when you arrive and we can take payment.

A few things we ask:

  • Please keep your dog to your own pitch, if that's too difficult then please use a lead.
  • Clear up after your dog. We have dog poo bins around the park but we ask you to bring your own poo bags.
  • Don't leave your dog unattended.
  • Please try to keep your dog off the furniture.

Wait, What? No WiFi?

There is no WiFi on site - Silverburn Park offers a chance to get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. We all need a chance to unplug from work and news and just enjoy some relaxation so take advantage of this time and unwind.
